Accessibility Statement

At Birdi Dental, we are committed to making our website and physical practice accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves access to quality dental care and the information they need to make informed decisions about their oral health.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We strive to ensure our website and services meet the highest standards of accessibility. Our goal is to provide an inclusive experience for all visitors, regardless of ability or technology used.

Website Accessibility

We work to maintain compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological conditions.

Accessibility Features

Our Website Includes

Text Alternatives – We provide alternative text descriptions for images and non-text content so screen readers can describe them to users who are blind or visually impaired.

Keyboard Navigation – You can navigate our website using only your keyboard, without requiring a mouse. Use the Tab key to move between links and buttons, and Enter or Space to select items.

Color Contrast – We use sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds to make content readable for people with visual impairments or color blindness.

Resizable Text – You can adjust text size in your browser settings without losing functionality or readability. Most browsers allow you to zoom in or out using Ctrl + (plus) or Ctrl – (minus) on Windows, or Cmd + (plus) or Cmd – (minus) on Mac.

Clear Language – We write in clear, straightforward language at an 8th-grade reading level to make our content easy to understand.

Consistent Navigation – Our website uses a consistent layout and navigation structure across all pages, making it easier to find information.

Form Labels – All form fields include clear labels and instructions to help you complete appointment requests and contact forms.

Descriptive Links – Our links use descriptive text to explain where they lead, rather than generic phrases like “click here.”
